My name is Mauricio. I’m a native Spanish-speaker living in Mexico City who has been exposed to multi-cultural environments with coworkers and friends from the USA, Canada, the UK, Europe, and Latin America since 1996.

I hold a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and a B.A. in English Language and Literature, and I have taken workshops on poetry and translation, proofreading, and literary creation. I have translated business, cultural and academic documents, from film subtitles to short stories, and from software terminology to user manuals for big pharma companies.
